Quick question for you guys (I'm filing ROC in March): the evidence that we are providing, is it covering from the time of marriage OR from the time of receiving the conditional GC?

I've heard conflicting advise/info.

I sent mine with evidences from the time of receiving my GC because they already had the marriage ones from my AOS.

Hey all! just a tip if you need it .

I have researched and USCIS prefers IRS tax transcripts and it is a much stronger evidence than just tax returns.

Hi,

I thought the IRS tax transcript does not show the full name ( firs & last name). How can this be better in this case?  maybe submit both?

Original November 30th filer.

My husband's PR card expired 12/19.  We filed in late November and our package was received 11/30 at the lockbox.  As you guys have heard, it's taking about 5-6 weeks to have your money withdrawn.  As soon as you see that, you can call USCIS and give them your A number and they'll give you your case number to track.  NOA's are following shortly after that.

I received notification via email (from the lockbox) on 01/14 that our package was rejected because our payment didn't go through.  After doing some research (calling the bank, reviewing our forms), it appears that USCIS keyed the card number incorrectly.  The bank has no record of them ever attempting a charge to my account.  USCIS stated that even if it's their error, we have to refile.

Since my husband's application is now late and filing past the 90 day window, we had to submit the reason for the delay.

I had my bank write a letter attesting that there was no charge attempted to my card, verifying my card number, and that there were sufficient funds in my account on the day they stated they tried to charge my card.  I submitted that along with a copy of our original package, and the email from the lockbox (which stated we didn't need to wait on the return package to refile).

We mailed our package 01/20 and it was received 01/22.  We received our returned package on 01/22.

This has really been a mess, as now we're filing late and my husband has been driving with an expired license (really no choice because he has to work).

We have a call in to tier 2 with USCIS to request an expedite due to USCIS error.  My husband and I have had such a long road- feel free to read about our journey!  We are blessed to have come this far with God and ourselves, without the use of an attorney!  The positive side is that I've become pretty knowledgeable of USCIS and immigration lol

(K1 visa denial, an approved waiver of Inadmissibility that was approved on an expedite, another K1 visa denial despite having an approved waiver, before refiling our K1 and finally being approved)!

Here's to the wait!!

That was quite a journey! I got denied too for my cr1 visa interview  but was able to overcome it. Goodluck to you and your husband!

You can submit both, however, the IRS transcript is easy and straightforward with less information to go through. The link below contain sample of Affidavit and other letters. Notarizing depends on you. I personally notarized mine and there are others that still got approved without the notarized letter. USCIS approval process is always a mystery, what works for one doesn't transition to others.

Good luck

90 days before your card expires.

for example a card expires  4/4/2021..the window open 1/4/2021 ..

in the USCIS page there is a calculator (for other proposes that have the 90 day rule) you can use

Hello Everyone,

So, our Earliest filing date was 1/4/21

Package sent 4/7/21

Now...

For some reason I decided this time to send BOTH the I-751, and the Biometrics fee in one check. Then I found out that the Biometrics fee has been waived. I'm concerned that sending just one check will delay our I-751 process.

Has anyone done the same mistake I made? Did you get any notification from USCIS? I attempted to call, but seems like that's an impossible task.

Thanks so much, Best wishes for all in 2021!

Good news is that somebody from October filers already got their 10 year green card today. And there was somebody who got approved on Thursday.
I will also copy what somebody wrote there because I think it is interesting to know.

Member called Jesusboy wrote:

If your receipt number starts with "SRC, EAC, VSC, LIN", be on the look out because USCIS is really moving fast with those applicants by waiving interviews. It is the same story on ***removed*** forum.

This is why:

During this session, the speakers explained the circumstances under which Forms N-400 and I-751 may be pending concurrently, clarified USCIS’ current processes when handling and adjudicating these concurrently pending forms, and allowed stakeholders to share their experiences with this process. For example, the speakers confirmed that I-751 receipt numbers with the prefix MSC are routed for interview scheduling; receipt numbers that do not contain the MSC prefix (e.g., EAC, VSC, LIN, etc.) are routed to the appropriate service center for an interview waiver determination.
