Hi all,

my fiancé was asked to send in additional documents along with his passport to the consulate via DHL. We just read that the instructions page (generated on the AIS page) is supposed to be sent along with the documents. We didn’t include the instructions page and we’re wondering if this could have a negative impact. Does anyone have experience with sending documents to the consulate via courier? Can we just attach the instructions page as pdf and email it to the consulate? Please help. Attached below is the instructions page.
(I hope my question is clear)

Lesson learned here, that is to carefully read the instructions and use the correspondence from the governing body to collect the information that they are requiring and to follow their return instructions. I know you are kicking yourself and you know this to be true, but I list it to share with others.

You can try and send another copy both by courier and by email. Hopefully, it will find its way to your record to help in the adjudication. As I see it, there really isn't much more you can do.
