Use a courier like Fedex or UPS just that it does not get further delayed. Do NOT use USPS cuz it is taking longer to get the mail to the lockbox.

Ok. For the Cover Letter, should the US Citizen do it in behalf of me(the alien) or either of us can?

I did for my wife's I-751, but it doesn't really matter.

You understand that the immigrant is the petitioner for an I-751, right?

The immigrant is both the petitioner and beneficiary for the ROC, as the petition is his/hers (for obvious reasons the US citizen doesn't have any conditions to remove), and the immigrant is also the one who receives the benefit (ie the unconditional status).

The US citizen is only "the spouse".

The cover letter is just a recommendation and not a requirement. I, the immigrant, made my own cover letter as it made more sense to me as I'm the one who needed the conditions removed, not my USC husband.

I only had my husband sign and date it, just because.

Agree.  Some people are surprised to see the immigrant listed as both the petitioner and Beneficiary on the I-797.......

I hope you reach the end of your journey soon....

Yeah, seen quite a few posts by people wondering if the NOA1 is incorrect regarding the petitioner.

Thank you, I'm with a very slow field office so maybe another 6 months, or even more, who knows. I'm crossing my fingers you guys get your ROC interview soon, you've almost been waiting for 2 years, that's absolutely crazy.

Happy New Year 🥳

Here we go again with papers papers. Anyways, upon checking for "where to file" the I-751, in the uscis website it is addressed in Arizona but I read in here that filing lockbox depends on what state you come from(in my case it's Michigan). So any enlightenment?

And lastly, when you say "filing jointly" it will be the US citizen who will file the papers in behalf of the alien spouse?

Thank you so much❤️

It's no longer in Texas?

This URL is the official word on where to file: https://www.uscis.gov/i-751-direct-filing-addresses.

(It was in Texas when we filed in May, but as of Sept 2020, it says Phoenix.)
