Happy New Year 🥳

Here we go again with papers papers. Anyways, upon checking for "where to file" the I-751, in the uscis website it is addressed in Arizona but I read in here that filing lockbox depends on what state you come from(in my case it's Michigan). So any enlightenment?

And lastly, when you say "filing jointly" it will be the US citizen who will file the papers in behalf of the alien spouse?

Thank you so much❤️

Arizona Lockbox for I-751.

Yes, conditional resident is petitioner and US citizen spouse co-signee in part-8 of the form.

It's no longer in Texas?

I do not think so. I am in Iowa, and sent it to AZ.

I read it will be depending on what state you are from. You are in Iowa I'm pretty sure yours will be sent to Arizona. So i am confused😟

I do not remember exactly when they updated it, but it has been a little while.

I remember when USCIS just made the change, some people here on the forum asked what they should do after they had sent their applications to TX.

I see now. They just updated it last Sept. 17, 2020. Thank you

It was updated in September.

For I-751, the Conditional Resident is the "petitioner". You are just the "spouse" that signs in Part 8: https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-751.pdf

Ok. For the Cover Letter, should the US Citizen do it in behalf of me(the alien) or either of us can?
