Great news indeed. I checked tour Timeline and you don’t have biometrics (or re-use) date. Does the interview message preceded bio reuse notification? You filed just last month. That’s crazy fast! Good for you.

Edit: I see the bio early walk-in in January in your comments (but not on timeline). Again, great, this is so fast! I hope this is the new USCIS pace moving forward with all cases lol

Yeah.

I didn’t put the bio date in the timeline because there’s no place to put it.

I didn’t want to confuse people by thinking I got scheduled for biometrics one day after I applied.

DC909 application is going at this speedy pace because he joinned the military. When you join the military USCIS expediates your application. Still its a fast pace and I just hope that everyone else will get a decent speed time and final resolution to their application that has positive conclusion.

Yeah, I agree.

However, user smd1 has an interview already in March and he/she applied in January as well. Not too sure if they are military applicants too, but I doubt it.

USCIS Reverts to the 2008 Version of the Naturalization Civics Test

Release Date
02/22/2021

WASHINGTON— U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services announced today it is reverting to the 2008 version of the naturalization civics test beginning March 1, 2021.

Applicants who filed their application for naturalization on or after Dec. 1, 2020, and before March 1, 2021, likely have been studying for the 2020 test; therefore, USCIS will give these applicants the option to take either the 2020 civics test or the 2008 civics test. There will be a transition period where both tests are being offered. The 2020 test will be phased out on April 19, 2021, for initial test takers.

Haha, I thought about the same thing. 6 questions instead of 10... It's a deal I can't decline.
