Do you have other pending applications? Are you applying based on 3 or 5 years?

 

your office is not so busy so hopefully you should hear soon.

No other application. Based on 5 years. Asylum approved.

i just got scheduled today for my Interview N400, but as soon as i logged in to my USCIS account it says Estimated time* until case decision: 

approx. 13 months

 

any idea whats going on?

Newark NJ FO here. I got my interview scheduled today on Oct. 19th, and the interview is scheduled for Dec. 6th

 

My filing was on 1/10/2021

 

So happy! One more step closer! I hope all of you who aren't scheduled yet will get their interview letters soon.

Thank you. I was told before that usually interviews are scheduled 4-5 weeks from the NOA. I'm fine with that. Gives me time to get my stuff together and review everything as well as practice some test questions.

Does anyone know if the Fairfax, VA field office allows cellphones inside the facility? I’ll obviously turn off my phone before entering and keep it in my bag but just wanted to know if they’d let me in with it.

I had one there in 2018 no problem, assuming that to be the case and I'll have one with me when I do my interview tomorrow!

Indeed, I had my interview today and I wasn’t even required to turn it off - just to be kept on silent which is not surprising!

Did they offer same day ceremony, if not do you know when the next ceremonies are?
