I just randomly decided to check my account online and turned out I have a notice on file for biometrics reuse. Super happy about that and like many others did not get any alert or email notification neither my status itself moved to anything just yet. But that’s a move in the right direction.

best of luck to everyone and congrats to those who are citizens now 🙌🏻 🇺🇸

Every path takes time, wisdom, passion and patience! Have fun along the way!

Hi guys! I passed my interview in Nashville, TN yesterday, it was quick and easy. The female officer was nice and kind, she greeted me, asked how is my day and how I drove to the USCIS office, then she left me in a room with a printer and a tablet and said she is going to talk to me through a tablet remotely from her office, so I can take off my mask. Then she left and we started a conversation through a tablet camera, she asked my full name, SS number, phone number, birthday and abt my employment. Also asked about my husband, his DOB, our marriage day, and some info about my ex husband (I applied based 3 years marriage rule). Then she printed a form and asked to write down " Independence Day is in July " and to read phrase "Who  was Abraham Lincoln?". After that she asked civics
- what is freedom of religion
-who is the chief of Justice
-we elect a senator for how long
-if the president can't no longer serve, who becomes president
-what is one right of freedom from first amendment
-what are two major political parties in the US
Then asked questions from N-400 (part 12) without asking any definitions and asked if I support the Constitution. That was it. She said "congrats" and printed a form with my personal information for me to check and said I will get a letter with my oath scheduled  in a couple weeks( because I'm changing my legal name and will have a court oath ceremony). That's all!
I wish everybody to pass their interview so easily! ❤

Congratulations! Did the officer say when your name change oath ceremony will be? I heard name change request will delay the oath ceremony by a few months . I am unsure if that is true or not to Nashville office

Hi! Thanks!

Yeah, she did say it's going to delay my oath ceremony from 3 to 6 months, but honestly I'm fine with it, my name in my passport and the green card is ridiculously misspelled, and I desperately wanna change it to my normal, real first name. The officer said the letter with a ceremony date and time should arrive within a week, so I will update it here.

When was your interview date ? You will receive a notice of oath ceremony date one week after the interview ?
