Now how I am supposed to tell them which test I am going to take? Like I go to the interview and then they ask me which one do you want or have to let them know in advance?

You can choose which test you want to take if your interview falls within the time frame.

I am assuming that if you’re interview falls working that time frame they will ask you in your interview which test you want to take?

I would just study for the 2008 one. It’s shorter, easier, and less confusing.

Hi everyone! Jan 21 filer here from ND but we are under MN office. I applied Jan 26 and got NOA the next day. My biometrics appointment was scheduled Feb 6th for Mar 2nd. I am hoping for speedy case but could be wishful thinking as I heard MN office is one of the slowest in the country lol🤦‍♀️.  Goodluck to you all!

I think everyone believe their field office is the slowest....lol.....there is no yardstick to measure USCIS field office response time as this depends on a lot of factors.

I personally dub USCIS the waiting game department. Eventually we all get our turn with them..... Good luck to all....

Just got a biometrics reuse notice, still showing September dates, but I'm guessing stuff will get pushed forward from here on in.

And I plan on doing the 2008 civics test, not the stupid ultranationalist new one that they tried to push on us.

I'm also believing things have to move a lot faster now. After April they will phase out the new test so all good for us coming up after April.

This is amazing and thank you for your help! I sent them an email with my details and the UPS tracking number showing the application was delivered on 1/12/21.

Out of curiosity, how did you manage to get information out of the virtual assistant? I found no way of interrupting or getting the assistant to answer my question.

Hey Pres19! My app got delivered 1/31 but still no word yet. You hear back anything about your app or find out your receipt # etc?

Hi everyone,

my paper application has been delivered on February 8th in Lewisville TX and check is  not cashed yet , does anyone have similar situation? Or any idea how can I find out more?

Thanks

Hello - it sounds like you would be a February filer. I know that it takes a while for anything to happen if you send a  paper application. Most of us here filed online but I know a couple of us used the paper application so they may be able to give more accurate information. All the best!!

Filing online seemed smooth and payment went through. Nothing about biometric, yet. It's been little over a month.

Estimated time was August 2021 then it got updated to November 2021

Is it possible to have biometric reused without notification? I'm just wondering because of the change in the estimated time.
