Hi all!

We’re still early on into the process, but things re: my fiance’s current employment have changed and just to be safe, my uncle agreed to be our co-sponsor once we need to submit the I-134 (whenever that is — Hopeful for this year for everyone!!!)

I’m asking him for the ffg.:

- Tax transcripts (3 years)

- W2 form (3 years)

- Form 1040 (3 years)

He mentioned that he files a combined income tax w/ his wife. Will this be okay?

Manila will be satisfied with 1 year if they ask at all.  If you fiance meets the requirements that's all you need.  They won't be bothered by a job change

Right now he’ll only be able to provide 2 mos (Feb and March) paystub — and his sched became erratic as he takes time off to prepare for interviews (almost no work for the entirety of January) then he’ll be going home by March and stay til around May or June so no pay at all for those months too.. will this be ok?? If all goes well he’ll start working again by July.

You are more than a year before interview.   So much can change

Manila only needs one year of taxes.  Since you are so far from interview you don't know what year.  Will it be 2020 taxes or 2021?   The interview date will determine that.

YMMV

Manila hasn't done very many  k1 interviews since March.   The line is getting longer each day.

That's too much information that is not needed for her embassy. Do what do will do. One year of any documents is what is in the P3 letter. The Embassy in the Philippines has not asked for financials for over 4 years now. If they do, it's be to be prepared with what is asked for in the P3 letter for the PI embassy. Not all embassies are the same. Just saying.

It would appear they randomly ask.  First hand knowledge.  My then fiancee  was asked for financials.

YMMV
