Hello,

I have applied for my wife citizenship application N-400 and unintentionally I forgot to put one recent address in 5 years of history section, I do have the lease from that address and also I have the tax return and my daughter was born in that state, She has a biometric appointment coming up this month and I would like to know if she can correct the mistake there or should we wait until we get an interview letter and correct it with the officer or should I call them to correct the application? We now live in different state and applied there after completing 3 months of residency requirements. Will there be any problems? Any valuable information will be appreciated. Happy New Year.

I don’t think she will get the chance to correct it at a biometrics appointment, but there should be the opportunity to do it at the interview.  Usually the IO reviews all the information on the N400 and allows for corrections, so I would have your wife take all the evidence with her (you will most likely not be in the interview with her), and correct it then.

Good Luck!
