It's honestly heart breaking that psychopathic mass murderers that slaughtered innocent women and children have been pardoned by the "law and order" president.

The four contractors, who worked for the private security firm Blackwater owned by the brother of Trump's education secretary, were included in a wave of pre-Christmas pardons announced by the White House.

“Pardoning the Blackwater contractors is an affront to justice and to the victims of the Nisour Square massacre and their families,” said Jelena Aparac, chair of the U.N. working group on the use of mercenaries, said in a statement.

The Geneva Conventions oblige states to hold war criminals accountable for their crimes, even when they act as private security contractors, the U.N. experts said.

"These pardons violate U.S. obligations under international law and more broadly undermine humanitarian law and human rights at a global level."

Yeah and who cares what the UN thinks anyway..... We are a sovereign country and can do whatever we want.

It was bad enough that those thugs were convicted. So many other war criminals are coddled and protected. They had ironclad evidence and the offense was so bad they were brought to justice.

But antifa is the real problem.

Yep, the US gets away with committing war crimes and the fact that these psychopaths were convicted in the US must tell you something.

Not that it should make a difference but, we cannot even extend the sovereignty doctrine to protect the actions of our troops, these folks a "security" mercenaries.

saying they are psychopaths does not make it so.  what evidence do you have to call them that?

So you don't care that war criminals found guilty by a US court (a miracle on its own) that killed innocent children are pardoned?

Found guilty after how many trials?

Actually we do do that with countries that we have a SOFA agreement with.

As a former "security mercenary" myself these folks were caught up in a ambush and reacted. Not to mention I saw some very suspect stuff after this went down that tried to paint them in a very bad light. For example I saw a photo of a woman holding up a unspent rifle round saying that it "hit her house" when it was clearly not even fired yet.

So you're defending them? Wow.

Are you saying they're innocent? Do you have any compassion for their victims?

Yes, I am defending them because I was over in Iraq right before this happened and understand the complexities of what went on. Also according to the Iraq government the guards fired onto a white sedan after they crept on their position and after the ROE were followed. This led to the IA/IPs to fire on them mistakenly and they fired back thinking that they were being fired on by insurgents.

I do have compassion for the victims but it was a poop hole all the way around tbh with you. Also have you ever seen the result of what happens after a VBIED goes off?
