Can anyone tell me what do I put here? I put his passport number in question #47. Now my question is; wouldn't I put his visa number in on question number 48? The visa is technically a Travel Document Number.

I just really don't want to get this wrong!

Generally, people have either a passport (most common) or another Travel Document. If he has a passport, you can type N/A for the travel document number.

By the way, why are you filing an I-130? Your profile and timeline indicate you have an approved K-1, so you would now be filing for Adjustment of Status. If this is correct, you would not need the I-130.

I thought you were required to file an I-130 with the I-485 concurrently? I'm so confused ugh

Not if he came on a K-1. If he came using a different visa, then yes.

Thank you so much. I feel like such a dork lol oh well.

Same goes for the I-485 I presume; just leave the travel document space blank or put N/A especially since the visa number is asked for anyway in question #19.

Alrighty! Well thank you for setting me onto the right path! 😄
