Thanks again, I did my research and on the requirements list from the USCIS website shows

  • Evidence you met your fiancé(e) in-person within two years of you filing your Form I-129F. If you haven’t met within two years, submit evidence that meeting in-person would violate strict and long-established customs of your fiancé(e)’s foreign culture or social practice or would be an extreme hardship on the petitioner.

I deal with legal contracts on a daily basis I did my application following all the rules and requirements, as I said I have nothing to do but wait, best of all

You will be disappointed.  You did NOT comply with all the requirements.  Did you actually meet within 2 years of filing the I129f?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I followed and comply all the requirements as you can see meeting in person will be an extreme hardship for me “political immigration restrictions from a foreign country” that’s why you have the option to request a waiver, I know my case is not an easy one but again I don’t have the power to predict the future like you, I’ll just wait and hope the best

The Covid restriction will not prevent your meeting the requirement......it only delays your meeting.  I have seen much, much stronger cases denied.......maybe you will be an exception.

I sent the I-129f recently, It was received November 11 2020, I just have the receipt hard copy and no more updates, yesterday I did talk to an agent from USCIS over the phone and she told me most likely 6 months so be patient until March 2021.

That’s awesome you got someone on the phone and they gave you a timeframe (even if it’s standard). Nice to hear.
