Current intermediate countries before US entry?

I'm having a tad difficult of a time finding a place for my fiancee to go from Guangzhao to satisfy the 15 day(I know it's 14, but I'm not taking chances) ban since conditions change daily it seems. She does not have residency anywhere else - just Chinese passport.

It looks like I found these viable options based on visa reqs:

• Singapore
• Thailand
• South Korea(maybe?)
• Mayalsia

 It's extremely hard for me to verify entry requirements(I'd love HK or Macau, but it seems 7 day max), I'd love to hear where folks are going these days.

How about Mexico or somewhere else in Central/South America with open borders and easy entry requirements? Has the added advantage that your fiancée can spend the two weeks getting used to the timezone and recovering from jet lag.

I was thinking Mexico if the restriction is still in place when we finally get the visa

We decided to just go with Singapore.
