Thanks, well so nothing is preventing us from compiling the package in advance and waiting it out to then backfill and send once this is done.

The good thing is that this package seems to be much less dense than the rest.

I know they try but the current situation is quite baffling.

You know what's even more baffling? That plenty of applications are locked in a man- made limestone cave according to this article. Yeah, no pun intended. The truth is, nobody really cares about immigration, except immigrants and their families. That is why it doesn't make it to the news.

Trumps Policy murdered immigration. And the current President all he knows is talk and do nothing. I don't see why application will even make one year not to talk of years as I have seen. You either review it reject or accept it. America is not heaven that you will make applicant go through all this just to get a stay. This is so frustrating. I have lamented ,wept, but all in vain cos none of the ones responsible can see or read my post. This the worst immigration system in the world.

Correct. He's just sweeping it under the rug, hoping someone else will take care of it. Dude! You're the President. Naturalized immigrants have elected you for a reason, do something!

Once folks realize and then accept all opinions are assigned by those who assign them, one will hold a completely different view of how the world really goes around. Separating from it is hard.

Trump’s WH added fuel to the fire at the agency but with curbing those who abuse the system in mind. Yes Biden and team D are seemingly inept now, and frankly their lack of cooperation on border security lead to the Trump move prior and  more insight on that topic below. Mainly this is all due to vast hive thinking opinion assignment run amuck. (Ask Elon Musk about that Problem) but to insinuate that any of these comments everyone has made are root cause misses the point.

You cannot fix the problems we are experiencing when people are allowed to abuse the border and the system. It fuels the disfunction. Gov is naturally slow, chaos will win. Just the way it works.

Were all here doing this the legal way. Take all the border abusers out and our apps would have turned in 90 days.

What influences all this is in my opinion, Tax Revenue: The most likely explanation is simply to backlog those that can wait who already pay taxes and work legally, in favor of applications that produce tax revenue by creating new tax payers. The illusion that this has anything to do with the opinion assigned buzzwords of the month from the opinion assigners is frankly in my opinion ludicrous and devoid of critical thought on the matter.

Since the system abusers are here, there is more upside for the agency to make tax payers out of them. It’s baked in to the pie. If there was no financial upside, our current issue would not exist.

Just received notice that my wife's I-751 was approved. Vermont (EAC) service center. We filed from Brooklyn, NY.

Interestingly we just submitted the N400 application a few days ago. I'm not sure if that prompted movement on her case or if it was pure coincidence.

Hopefully it doesn't get lost in the mail! Really looking forward to her no longer needing to present the extension letter at the border, which always makes me nervous.

Hey all! I checked my status online and saw that "On April 23, 2022, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number EAC###, and will mail it to the address you gave us.". No other updates or notifications before this. I guess that means I was approved? I have a green card based on adjustment from K-1, based in Boston, MA. Have not yet filed for citizenship.

Yup they won't give you a 10 years green card if your case is not approved. Congrats

Hey guys,

What do you think about sending in an e-request for "Outside Normal Processing Time"

For us February 2021 filers, the receipt notice was somewhere in Feb 2021 (for me, it was Feb 11th).

I was looking at the Service Center Processing times, and they're processing stuff from June 2021.

For me, it keeps saying "Ready to be scheduled for interview" as of Dec 29th 2021.

Do you folks think this e-request will help? Anyone tried it before?

We did filed  on 02/08/2021. Biometrics  On 08/23/2021 till date it is to ready to be schedule. it has been 1 year 2 months and 15 days. Though i have read from  post were op said they have been waiting for two years... i still feel like individually we need to  decide on what to do. for me i recently filed for case out of normal time even though i applied for N400 already

For the heck of it, I tried to file an e-request and after filling out all of the information, it wouldn't take my request because for the LIN center, I'm still within the "normal processing time".  GRRRR!

If it shows that they are processing times from June 2021, I would absolutely go ahead and file an e-request.  Hopefully you get some movement on it!
