Hey Guys,

So i had my i-751 interview this morning at san bernardino office California. This was the most casual and easy interview i ever had. The IO was a super nice lady. First thing she asked us for any originals or any new things we have brought. She took everything in and mentioned straight away looking at our purchased house deed and our daughter’s birth certificate that obviously its a genuine marriage. She did not ask us a single question. Chatted with my wife for 10-15 minutes about our daughter and her daughter. And went through the papers side by side and just told us our case has been approved.

my conclusion is they basically already know somehow if you are genuine or not.

finally done with this one and last hurdle to go.

Hello everyone.

So my wife and I submitted her I-751 last year February. We went to the immigration office on July for her biometrics and since then we haven’t received anything other than a notice extending her conditional visa to 24 months. I’m wondering, how long will it take before she finally gets her 10-year visa or she gets a letter scheduling her visa interview? I don’t want to wait too long and then nothing happens and it will be too late.

Depending on your service center. each service center has different processing time.

visa

It's not a visa. A visa is a document for those that are entering the US. She is getting a green card.

Nobody can tell you that, it all depends on the processing center, your field office, the officer handling your case, and your circumstances.

Too late for what? There is no deadline for the i751.

LIN (Nebraska) service center here.  Looks like we're all roughly at the same point - fingerprints taken, and now waiting for something!  Hoping for a RoC w/o an interview!

Well, at least you got your biometric appointment a month after your NOA. For me it's been radio silence... Niente! Nada!

Well, it was the letter confirming that the prints were used from the prior biometric appt, rather than a new appt.  In looking at the chart for Dec 2021 and Jan 2021, it looks like it is still taking around 4-5 weeks from receipt of NOA to the fingerprints letter.  Hopefully yours will be coming soon!  Fingers crossed!!

I hear ya!!!  It will be WONDERFUL for hubby and I to not have to worry about this whole mess for another 10 years.  (Though, I'm sure by that point, he will have obtained his citizenship.)

Just got notified via the USCIS Case Tracker app that our new permanent green card is being produced! Hooray! We submitted the I-751 back in February 2021 and the only updates we’d received from USCIS was the the letter extending the provisional green card status. Other than that, nothing. Was getting worried until today’s news. Our case was processed by the Vermont Service Center. So for those still waiting, take heart!

This is good news. May I please ask what's your priority date (the date that USCIS received your case February 2021)?

A timeline would also help, please?

Thanks!
