I feel ya.  After a while, every time my phone lit up with a text, I thought that it might be USCIS.  UUUUGH!

At least after this, we'll all get a reprieve for a little bit (unless someone is going straight to naturalization.  Hubby and I are taking a breather from filing!)

I just checked my case status online and it says case ready to be scheduled for interview since Nov 24th! Great news but I'm always nervous about getting the physical letter, especially after an address change. Has anybody already received the letter in the mail, and when did you status officially change. Just wondering when I should expect it.

Be hyper-vigilant about this. We moved during our I-485 application and made sure to file the address change form. I even called USCIS to verify they got my new address.

The interview notice arrived at our new house with a big yellow 'reroute' sticker from USPS. It was addressed to our old apartment, and fortunately I had set up mail forwarding with USPS. Our attorney also got a copy.

I mentioned this at the interview and the officer told us USCIS uses "about 5 different systems that don't talk to each other" (literally his words). All other communications (e.g. the I485 approval notice, the actual green card) made it to our new address. But apparently the interview scheduler is on a different system that doesn't always sync up with the other systems.

Set up informed delivery. Make sure you set up mail forwarding with USPS. You may even want to contact the person that lives at your old address now and let them know to contact you if any mail from USCIS accidentally goes to there address. It's a major PITA to deal with a missed interview letter.

BTW regarding the wait time - could be a few months, could be 2+ years. It depends on the workload of the field office unfortunately.

Yes, informed delivery is a must! My interview appointment was scheduled to arrive on saturday and it didn't.  Hopefully today🤞

I changed my address recently and when i got the biometrics appt it went to the old address (I requested to change it previously), so I called USCIS and they updated it.

My interview appointment is coming to the right address now.

Hi!

According to USPS informed delivery it was arriving last Saturday but it didn't. Hopefully today 🤞

I'm worried the mailman delivered it to a wrong address because all the other mail was delivered except my letter.😐

Hope you get it soon. Can you keep me/us updated on when you get it and what the instructions are? E.g. if the interview date is already given or whatever :)

Like seriously November 24 is the exact date my case was ready to be scheduled for interview? So we are same level? You filed for Citizenship  already? I have not received any letter mailed to me from USCIS. Just the online status.
