Wait for a month and than call the NVC to get you case and invoice number.

What about updating our email address on nvc website? Should I do it before or after getting our case and invoice number?

If you read the pdf on the first page very carefully, it says to update your email after your file gets to NVC.

No, they just gonna say we don’t know you yet ! They have to receive your information to start tracking you first

Its been two weeks now since we saw on the website that our case was approved. We haven't gotten any letter yet. I'm assuming that, since we don't have our NOA2 yet, we cant call the NVC to ask for our case number right?

 

For those who have received their physical NOA 2, how long until NVC gave you your case number?

 

Sorry I am just very anxious at this point.

For me it took about 4 weeks for nvc to receive my case and I kept calling because they don’t send you any letters. I’m going to call tomorrow if they created my case number. I received my physical NOA2 in mail after 1 week and a half.

Start to call tomorrow and see if nvc received your case and created a case number

I was just talking with my friend about his case. He got his approval the 25th of January on the uscis app, but has yet to receive his Noa 2  are they running that far behind getting those letters out?

Hmmm they usually send them out right away. He should call Uscis and tell them that he hasn’t received the approval notice in the mail and that they should send another one
