Hello

My noa1 date is April 24, 2020

Still we didn't receive our noa2.

I was checking the processing times recently. Now it jumped to May 28, 2020 (as per the attached picture).

Should I submit an outside normal processing time or should I wait!?

Please need your help

Thanks

Yes you can submit one if you want. They will send you a email about how they are working on getting to your case and that you need to be patient.

I’m finally getting the NOA2 today in the mail and sooo happy to hear that my embassy will start to do interviews next month! 🥳

Congratulation. Is your embassy resuming immigrant and non immigrant routine visa interviews? If so how did you found out?

I went on the embassy website and saw the updates. They said they are resuming immigrant visas and that they are considering K1 as immigrant.

That’s great. I was checking the visa issue statistic, your country is issuing lot of visa. Check out the december 2020 https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-statistics/nonimmigrant-visa-statistics/monthly-nonimmigrant-visa-issuances.html

Yeah I saw and got very happy. I’m just waiting on nvc to receive my case so I can do the ds-160 form asap to get the interview. Hopefully yours open as well next month inshallah!

Hello everyone,

I called the NVC on day 7 and day 14 about our case number, so far they haven't received our case. I plan to call once a week just because I have the time, but I expect it will be 30-60 days depending on workload. Looking forward to the next steps and wish you all the best of luck.

From NVC

Current case creation time frame: As of 25-JAN-2021, we are working on cases that were received from USCIS on 5-JAN-2021.

Once USCIS approves your I-797, they will send your case to the National Visa Center (NVC) for processing. At NVC, we will create your visa case and enter the data from your petition into the system.

After creating your case, we will send you instructions for processing, as well as a Welcome Letter that includes your Case Number and Invoice ID. You will use these numbers to log into our Consular Electronic Application Center (https://ceac.state.gov).

IMPORTANT: Keep your Welcome Letter in a safe place, as you will need this information to log into CEAC throughout the entire visa process.

Hi everyone, We received our NOA2 on Dec 7th, and haven't heard anything from NVC

I am from Venezuela, but as we currently don't have a US embassy, I will most likely have my interview in Bogotá. I read on the PDF at the beginning that I will need a P3 letter, Does any one have it for Bogotá?

P. S. We still haven't received a case number.. They said that they got our file but the system hasn't been updated yet
