My case status on cecs says ready to schedule interview. But when I go to schedule the interview a message comes up and says I must have a notice from the scheduling sept. specifically telling me to schedule. How long that notice take to reach me ?

2. Did you send the request using the nvc public inquiry form? 
 

we are actually on the same situation. We clearly indicated on the 129f petition that the interview will happen in another consulate and yet they still put the consulate in a location where the alien no longer resides. We called them and sent them a Couple of emails and hopefully they are gonna be able to rectify it before even sending it out to the wrong consulate  🤦🏻‍♀️🤦

Hey! Yes, we got a new case number. And yes, we were able to change it only through the public inquiry form, nothing else worked. We attached a copy of my passport and briefly explained the reason for the change.

Thank you so much for your helpful information. You are way more helpful than the agency we paid for in processing our paperworks who totally ignored us after making the full payment. Unfortunately many of these companies are not competent enough to provide good service. Thank you so much 💗 I wish you to be reunited with your loved one very soon.
