JANUARY 2021 I-129F K-1 FILERS (merged)

Definitely very frustrating but I'd have to assume that the agents are waiting on information to come back (e.g. background checks, inquiries to agencies to verify travel to meet in-person) and after a certain date they'll make their decision, likely an RFE.

I looked at the December thread and it's gone completely silent which leads me to believe they're completely done with that month so I think we just have to keep hope they'll be done with all of January by the end of November.

Does anyone know if they are done processing all 12/2020 filers?

they are never truly finished with one month. There are August, September, October, November and December 2020 filers still waiting. The majority of these turn into RFE's or they simply withdraw from K1.

I've been tracking 3-4 cases (that have not been approved) in my case's neighborhood and they've all stayed as "Request Received" for the past 3-4 weeks.  I don't see any movement on any of these cases with an NOA1 on January 27th.

My state senator has been useless; I think I'll reach out to my local congressman now. I was previously told not to contact multiple people but if my state senator can't even reply after 2 inquiries, I think it's time to move on to the next option.

Did you submit an online request to your senator?  If not, go to their website and you will find a way to contact.  they ask you to submit information about what you want and send it in (I had to send in my request - not able to do online).  Don't wait for them to call you or email you.  By submitting the request in writing, they SHOULD respond.  Good luck to you.  I can just imagine how frustrating this is for you (and the rest).  Many of us are playing the waiting game.  Good luck.

Where can we submit inquiry for the stare senator or congressman? Can you tell me the writing process @SandyR? I am in TX. The only thing I have done so far was to submit outside processing time via uscis website (one time)

I ended up emailing as per their request and received no response.  Today I went to my local congresswoman's website and faxed the request as it was either that or mail it in.  I called the office and they confirmed the fax is an appropriate way to receive the request and it will be delivered to their email.  I'll check-in in a few days to confirm that they have received it by calling them.

If you want to contact the senator, you have to go on Ted Cruz's website or John Cornyn.  As an example, on Ted Cruz's website you can go to Serivces -> Help with a Federal Agency  and look at the requirements.  If you want to contact your representative in the House of Representatives, you can find out who that is here: Find Your Representative | house.gov

@kholdstare already posted the senate reps but here is the link I found by quickly checking:
https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home

Both US senate reps have the link to contact.  I selected Cornyn just to see and he had options under contact him to select a federal agency and then select USCIS.

@kholdstare, I am Feb 1 filer just few days after you filed. Have you filed for a second outside of normal processing request? I will be eligible to do that in few days.  I wonder if I should also consider talking to my senator or congresswoman. There are about  80 cases remaining to be processed for Feb 1 so it is not just me waiting to be processed.

I have not filed a second request as I was advised not to by the agent I spoke to on the phone at USCIS.  I don't think these requests really do anything as everyone seems to get a generic response for the most part.  There's only 8% of January left to be processed and it looks like some of us are the unlucky few.

I would recommend reaching out to your Representative.  I will call to follow up that they received my request for assistance later this week.

NOA2 came through today! January 25th NOA1. Just updated the timeline.

After the outside processing time case inquiry, we contacted two senators and the Ombudsman last week, the latter being the only one who responded. So who knows what, if any of that, did anything.

That was a horrible wait. Luck and care to all of you still waiting.

Not sure if you saw the info posted, but here it is again:  go to this website and select help with a federal agency and go from there:  https://www.cornyn.senate.gov/contact

this is to try and get help getting USCIS moving.  Good luck
