Hey guys, i have a question, now it looks like after NVC gives a case number it is stuck at NVC, because of the line after COVID. Maybe someone has a case on the way to the US government in your country? Or know what is going on?

I've seen some cases wait for 1 month before moving to Kyiv in the last 6 months.  This is strange though.  Contact the NVC, if you haven't already, for an inquiry to see?

Agree Keith. If your embassy is Ukraine you will not wait that long to be sent to embassy. 1-2 months the most after NVC case number. A couple people on the K1 facebook group  took a screenshot of the available k1 appointments of the Ukraine embassy and they were many available appointment slots.

Our case has just been approved today, October 6th, NOA1 Jan 25th. We sent an inquiry on Sept 24th, soon after we were allowed to based on the USCIS website, we got an email on Oct 4th saying they don't have a definite timeline but that they are "working on adjudicating our case in the most efficient manner", and 2 days after their response we received the approval. Fiance told me the news, read the text when i woke up this morning, it's a weird feeling. But to everyone still waiting, it'll come soon. :)

Just a quick update before I fly off.  I did not get a chance to contact the USCIS as the last couple days were hectic.  If I need to contact them, I will take out time and just eat any charges while I am in Ukraine, but I feel like they will give me an update this week or next week.  Hopefully, it will be an approval.  But I just wanted to send an update.  I am persistent, but time was against me this week for it.  I wish you all the best and look forward to seeing more approvals when I return!

hi guys

hope everyone on here is doing well. quick question if our 1st receipt date and NOA1 was 2/5/2021 would we have received an RFE now or should we just be expecting an approval at this point? I hope there's no RFE..has anyone else with a NOA1 of early February received approval or RFE lately? If so when did you get an RFE..I would they wouldnt wait this late to send an RFE if they needed it.

To date we've gotten nothing..neither approval nor rfe request

Thank you

Deej

Merhaba millet

deej

You have the right to submit a petition to the immigration office for the maximum period of 240 days. You are more likely to get RF

I’m a January filer and only got my NOA2 the other day, and it was an approval. There’s still people from January waiting so it isn’t unusual for it to take a while. You can put through an inquiry but really all you can do is wait. Just because it’s taking a long time doesn’t mean it’s a RFE, it’s just still sitting on someone’s desk waiting to be looked at
