For this, make sure you concentrate on what uscis.gov says and not VJ timeline.  I just checked USCIS case processing times for 129F for Cali service center and it says January 18th.  So once it passes your date of January 25th, you can put in the inquiry.

As a Jan 29th filer we are getting close too.. i definitely find it silly to already be doing February when there are people waiting from January maybe even December

Update on this.  To get through to the live person for calling, say deadline for RFE.  The bot will give the definition of the RFE and ask if you have an account.  You repeat deadline for RFE.  Then it will give you the wait time after another 1 sentence and ask if you want to be connected.  Say yes and you are golden.  On call number 3 because last night i was disconnected after almost a 2 hour wait because I stepped away for 1 minute and the person answered at that time and heard silence.

This was super helpful and it worked to get past the bot!  Thanks for the advice there.  I couldn't sit still and wait for my RFE letter so I called USCIS.  I spoke to a nice lady who advised me that similar to what Keith mentioned, escalating the request to a tier 2 can get you to someone that can email the letter.  She told me they need to wait a minimum of 7 days before that escalation request can be made, so in my case that'll be next Tuesday the 21st (RFE date 9/14).  I hope to receive the letter prior to that but it's been tough-going actually getting their letters in my hand.  Hope this info is helpful to someone and keep on going forward everyone.

Just found out today that the RFE was a misread of USCIS.  I provided the correct documentation and it was a final decree, but USCIS did not read far enough on it.  During my downtime this weekend, I am going to outline everything I need to and type out an explanation letter.  Then I will print out and send the decree again with the new information.  I misunderstood her and thought she for some odd reason picked up the decree before it was completed but yet it showed a future stamp.  Yeah I was confused and we talked about it and figured it out.

now we have to wait for NVC to  send us a letter? 
am I ( Petitioner) going to receive the letter from NVC or my Fiancé ( beneficiary ) ?

Whats next?
The petition will go to NVC from CSC and NVC will assign an embassy/consulate case number to it.  I would wait a few weeks after receiving NOA-2 and then contact NVC to see if they assigned a case # yet.  I would post also if they have it created in the September NOA-2 to NVC.  If it is not created yet, I can create it.

 

NVC to send letter?
I would just get the case # and then start talking to the Spain forum in the regional area.  Family is first and i think regional is almost the end.

 

As far as your letters during the process to Madrid, I would check above with the Spain forum or check the Spain us embassy/consulate Madrid website.  That is what I did with Ukraine because I didn't discover visa journey.  Oh also, Visa journey under the "guides" at the top you can find K1 and see the entire process to give you a better idea post NVC.

 

For now, just focus on giving a few weeks for the petition to arrive at NVC and then grab that case #.  Also, post on the September NOA-2 to NVC.  Like i said, if it is not created, I will create it with the necessary links.

FYI, I know it has been going for a bit but they created the SEPT 2021 NOA-2 to NVC thread.  Join it if you have your NOA-2 or you can check next steps if you dont yet.  I'm staying positive for me and her and saying "I will see everyone in the Oct 2021 NOA-2 to NVC thread!!"  Stay Strong!!

Oh man!!! That's so frustrating! Hopefully they approve it very fast after receiving the documents.

Hey, so my question is on the approval letter I recieved it has a valid date through Janurary 12,2020. Does that mean if them embassy in Haiti doesnt get him an interview before this date and visa approved before this date it will no longer be valid?
