Hi Guys Midweek update

pretty slow last couple of days, Next update coming over the weekend.

 

Also, I have attached two items here one is based on dates one is basically 500 blocks of WAC Numbers in case someone is wondering. 

 

 

 

 

PS: Long time coming, we got our NOA2 today. Thanks to case tracker app I got a notification around 5pm (Central time) It felt surreal as I was waiting for an RFE as mine is a little complicated case. 

Stay strong all who are still waiting, it is just time and it shall too pass

So I never received my RFE and submitted a 'not received' inquiry or whatever it is called.  It said expect a reply by September 30.  I sure hope that is not accurate.  over 3 weeks for a reply?  anyone have any experience with this and how long it takes?

I wish I could give you better news - but from my experience it's a little hit or miss.  I didn't receive my NOA1 (lost in the mail though I know it was at least mailed because I saw the letter show up in my USPS email scan thing) so I used that function you're referring to.  Crickets, nothing ever received.  I called to request it a few weeks later and the lady on the phone send they would send another one.  Same result.  Finally about two months ago I used the web function again and it arrived in about two weeks.

 

I sure hope you have better luck.  I'd call and explain.  Maybe there is something else they can do to help.  Wishing you all the best of luck.

OH that is not encouraging!!!  Why can't they just post the letters on our USCIS account?  Wouldn't that make more sense?  I'll try calling on Monday.  Maybe with any luck, the original will show up.  Thanks for the reply.

Just talked to the Fiancee earlier for our routine daily talk and she said the same thing.  "Why cannot they just email it?"  I am putting in my e-request today so crossing my fingers but not holding my breath.

I'm really feeling the highest highs and the lowest lows with this process -- I went from having a complete breakdown a few days ago at the thought of our mistimed expedite request taking weeks longer to jumping for joy last night when we got our NOA2!! I'm so happy!! Thank you so much for your support, everyone. Every time I saw someone post "We got our NOA2! Don't lose hope, you'll get yours soon too!" I'd think, "yeah, right. You're just being positive because you already HAVE yours." Now I get it. It really does come so much sooner than you expect and it's such a weight off your chest. Praying everyone waiting gets yours ASAP.

Keep on going!  It is like we are all on a team together and cheering each other.  More inspiration for the rest of the group!

Good luck!  I'm trying to keep positive but it is hard with such a long possible wait.  I tried calling and got nowhere.  Just going to sit and wait and try not to obsess about this.  I just hope the RFE gets here before the time limit runs out!

Hey all, 

 

Just an update...I called NVC for my case number. The rep said my case reached August 31 but they are working on August 25 cases which confirms my thoughts that USCIS sends cases to NVC every 2 weeks (Tues&Wed)  and i just missed the shipment that week i was approved - Aug 19. The rep said to call back in another week.
