Jan 14th NOA1 here, got an update today 08/30 for an RFE, hoping the letter gets here soon so I know the specifics.

Finally received my mailed notice, our intent to marry statement didn't include his signature (because I'm a genius), and they also needed more evidence of our 2 year meeting requirement. I included lots of backups dated 2018, which happened to be dates outside the 2 year range (again, a refined genius 🙂). I've gathered everything rightfully dated and will be mailing first thing Tuesday. If I had discovered this site before my application I'm sure none of this would've happened lol.

hi guys, i have a little question. I have a friend of mine got the room noa1 on may 3rd. He is a doctor in Turkey. My question is, can he request an expedite for the k1 visa as he is a healthcare worker? Does this include it? I will be happy if you answer

A job is not a reason for expedite case request for K1 cases as far as I know.

A doctor in Turkey still has to pass his USMLE exams and then go in a Match. And even then a placement (residency) is not a guarantee. I suggest he gets his K1 approved and prepare for his USMLE exams.

Just my 3 cents.

Thanks.

Sadece benim 3 sentim.

Teşekkürler.

That's what I thought, thank you very much for your answer.

Still waiting on my RFE that was from 8/24.  Coming from California to Wisconsin.  But dang I would have walked it here faster!  Anyone experience such long wait for their RFE?

I hope you receive yours soon, I'm in MD and it got to me in about 5 days. Although I hear that it usually depends on your local postal service.

I havent received mine either.  I assume yours says the same thing but I am going put in an E-request to have it resent or whatever they do on Friday as Saturday is the 11th and when they said I should do it.  We both talked about that this morning and decided I would request Friday.  I know it is just delayed because of all of the USPS stuff but yeah.

Hello everyone. quick question, do they update the tracking when they receive RFE documents or only when there's a final decision?

Yes. It usually says "RFE Received"
