100 cases processed since 09/01 - 83 approved, 17 RFE. I’m so happy the number doubled - maybe they doubled the processed cases as a lot could be in vacation by tomorrow because of the long weekend.

To be honest, the last few days when i would refresh my case # on the case tracking app, my heart would pound just for a little bit during the refresh time.  It happened again today.  I dont expect approval this week, but it would be exciting!  It is just a relief seeing January movement as I remember in January when I first posted after sending off my stuff.  Plus, the fiancee will be excited to hear of more of the movement as she is concentrating on her daily life.  To be honest, these last couple months have been rough and I think it was because of the anticipation of possible approval before October and then being reminded of the last time we saw each other in person.  It has not been as long as some people, but anything more than 1 day is hard when it is that special person you promised to spend the rest of your life with.  Stay strong, everyone.  Even the people reading this who are in the later months or have been stuck because of weird situations.  As I said maybe a few months ago, USCIS will not determine the rest of your life, it is only a process.  The same as applying for a job and getting a driver's license.  Those are processes.  You might get accepted or denied with those processes, but you just move on and know there is something better.  With this process (entire, not just the I-129F petition portion or the rest of the K1 visa portion) you are just using an avenue to spend more time with your special person while they are waiting for their green card.  This process might bring reasons to make or break the relationship, but after it is all said and done, this process is not the glue to the relationship.  If this process does not work and you both still have that promise to each other, there are always other ways and one way will work out.  I really do not know if my petition will be approved.  I have faith that it will.  But I also know that if it doesnt get approved, then we will try other avenues because there is something bigger that we don't know.  I hope this helps as we are all going through this entire process.
