Yeah that can be confusing.  There is the WAC # creation date, and the actual "received" date.  Since COVID delayed receiving, our creation dates were almost (if not) 2 months from our actual received date.  So utilize the January one and know you have that much more time subtracted from your wait!  Stay strong!

Ohh okay cool, that’s good to know. Thank you!

Randomly checking cases in the Visa Tracker app - I saw three apps from November 12, 2020 got approved - two for March 25 and 1 for April 23 - that was a processing time of 4 and 5 months respectively. These three are so lucky.

USCIS processin is so random.

K1 Process (536 Days)

  • 01/28/2021: I129F Packet Sent - 07/20/2022: Visa On Hand

  • 08/12/2022: POE - Dulles

  • 09/20/2022: Marriage

AOS (Pending)  EAD & AP (88 Days):

  • 09/30/2022: AOS, EAD, AP Packet Sent
  • 01/09/2023: Combo Card on Hand (Expedited)

The nice thing is once we see them start grabbing a few december ones, we are next (well at least January is next and we get to see the randomness)

Lol yes the process is very random but there have been at least 200 or more November cases processed from March even before they started October filers. I think a couple of us have discussed that pattern with November 12 and November 16 cases being approved. They still continue to process November cases and run concurrent with processing October. Who knows if December and January will be processed simultaneously!

Have they picked up speed with the visas recently? That’s so amazing to hear but I don’t want to get excited just yet. My fiancé and I still have an estimated approval date for around mid-August that keeps fluctuating by 5-10 days but that isn’t a big deal.

Is there a way (besides tracker app) to check which month’s visas are being approved at the moment?

i usually look at the october discussion for the update. A member nicely creates a graph and post the update.

Hi everyone.

I sent my packet to Dallas on Jan 11th and they received it on the 14th, got my NOA1 as a text first in March, then received the letter some days later. Strongly hoping NOA2 comes through sometime soon, goodluck everyone!

I think it will not be until mid - late August 2021.

This is an excerpt from my letter I wrote (we wanted to push as much information as we could just in case and this was before discovering VJ)
"We do not have an official date set for marriage because of the unknown of when everything will be
approved. My goal is for Fall/winter 2021."

Crossing my fingers with the embassy because everything has been "improving" so might be pretty close with that.
Have hope but it is good to know reality also.  I know some people are from the countries that feel like there is a blazing fire between the embassy and the NVC so nothing is getting through, but just keep hanging in there and keep that relationship strong.  Do whatever you all need to do, but whatever you do, dont lose hope in your relationship.  If things change where you go for a different route, then go with it.  But keep that relationship strong because out of all this, the relationship is what is going to move forward and really matter in the end of all of this.  The stuff with USCIS and immigration is kind of like having a bad day at work.  It is a bad day at work and 6-7 years from now, you probably will not even think about it because there will be more important stuff to think about.  The same with this process.  Once the I-129F decision is made, you wont think about that process and will be focused on the next step, etc etc.

I think i am going to brew more coffee because I am definitely not this animated at work currently.

Just got my weekly VJ email with my estimated approval date (obviously taken with a grain of salt). Usually the estimated date is within the first week of September, but today's date was October 10 :(. Has anyone seen any significant delays in processing?

Jan 21 - Sent I-129F to Dallas Lockbox from Indonesia

Jan 26 - Delivered to Lockbox

Mar 13 - USCIS charged credit card

Mar 15 - Case number received by text

Same here. For the past 5-6 months, I've been receiving approval dates within August (maybe a couple weeks apart because it always fluctuates). Today I received an estimated approval for September 12th so they've definitely had a delay somewhere.

Yeah mine is estimated on here between September 6th and 10th.  I will not take it too seriously until the end of this month.  I feel like it is going to backtrack then unless something crazy happens.  Like I've been telling my fiancée, my estimates I give her are based solely on the few Ukrainian couples on here which are a little better than what VJ is estimating for me.  It does not include the thousands of cases the USCIS has made a decision on.  Everything is estimated (mine and theirs) but it gives us something to talk about when we do discuss this process.
