It all really depends on how packed the case is with useful information according to USCIS.  I am possibly expecting one with mine, but there is a chance it might not happen and it will just process to the NOA2.  You can check the RFE link as I think people still update the spreadsheet.

Thank you.

My fiancé just received our NOA1 in the mail (following the text message we received). Our notice date is March 3rd but our received date was January 6th. Which of these goes in the NOA1 date slot for the timeline? Sorry I’m just a bit confused.

January 6 is NOA-1 date. When you add the date to your timeline you can also make a comment about the notice date. I did that for mine for those who may be wondering in the future

I saw 2 dates, receipt date (jan 4, when it got to lockbox) and notice date (march 2). I used the notice date on my timeline.

You should be using the backdate Jan 4 not the notice date. That’s why you are in the January filers otherwise it would mean you filed in March.

You should be using the backdate Jan 4 not the notice date. Use the date that’s on your WAC

Arrived home yesterday from spending a month with my nephews.  No NOA-1 physical copy yet but I know it normally takes a week to receive.  And with the weather here yesterday, it does not doubt me it was delayed a little bit.  And also, the US embassy in Ukraine officially announced they will be processing visas, including K1s, starting April 1st.  Now I know they were processing here and there, but they were just not publically announcing it i think to reduce the flood of people scheduling.  There might be a secondary reason for this, but the whole point is that is another positive for this process!   I hope the same for others who have embassys who are not publically announcing they are processing visas except for emergencies.  There is hope.

That’s so good hear Keith!! Hopefully by the time you receive the NOA-2, the backlog will be cleared. Great news!!

Hey Jan filers! Wondering if anyone knows the current wait time for the NOA2 (including Covid delay). I just got an update from my timeline that said we should expect (fingers crossed) an I-129F approval by October. This is after I plugged in my NOA1 date (I haven’t changed it from March 3rd just yet).
