Re- submitting online I-130 application

I initially sent in I-130 application via paper process which is about 2 months with no response of either receipt Acknowledgement or case number, I also sent in a check which is yet to be cash out by Uscis. 

My questions is do you think I should go ahead and apply online. Because I have been trying to call but been talk to the auto machine and I sent email to lockbox yet no reply. 

 

 What do you think I should do?

Call USCIS and ask for technical assistance at each prompt.  That should allow you to speak with another human.   @Timona says this works every time.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Filing online could cost you an additional fee.

I would not cancel the check, more so after waiting 2 months. That's close to the current USCIS response time.

 

Probably a Tier 1 officer told you to cancel. They offer questionable advice frequently. So I wouldn't trust them on this.

 

My friend sent AOS last day of September 2020.  Took 2 months to get receipts. He still hasn't even got biometrics appointment. 

 

Pre-COVID, he should have got his EAD by now.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I did cancel the check  already which cost me extra $30
