In Vietnam the photocopy places wont do color copies because of the red stamp, they say only government officials can give copies with red color, is what my wife tells me.

Good luck

Anyone knows if the consulate in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam resumed the K visa yet? Anyone get the case transferred from NVC to the consulate recently? Thank you so much.

i think they started maybe back in december already.

Wow, I hope that’s true. I got my case moved to Vietnam and just got a new case number, just wonder how long will it take to get the status change to ‘in transit’.

Did you have any problems with trying to schedule the actual interview at the US Consulate?

I have seen others mention that once the paperwork from packet 3 is done and returned to the US Consulate that the US Consulate will setup your interview date for you and send you another notice (packet 4) to let you know when it will be...........I have never heard of that. I assumed that we would have to login and try and set an interview date using USTRAVELDOCS website????

What did you do?

We have been trying for months to just setup an interview date (K1 Visa)........and no luck so far.

Are we doing something wrong?

Is there any way to contact a real person at the US Consulate and ask for help?

This is just nuts..........we have done everything they have asked, paid every fee and supplied every document known to man, and we can't even schedule a flippin interview!

Any help you can provide would be wonderful
