I've been talking to someone for a while but our conversations have been limited to Snapchat.

We managed to exchange names and addresses, but that's all so far. I live in the US and they are in the Philippines.

We recently lost contact on Snapchat and I have no way of contacting them, so I need help figuring out if the address they have me is real and how to format it on an envelope.

Here is what I have:

Sunil, Agoncillo, Batangas 4211, Philippines

All help with this will be greatly appreciated.

Nothing comes up on Google maps when I look up Sunil.  But Agoncillo is a big town, maybe Sunil is a real place name and just hasn't been mapped.  I doubt that mail will get to the correct person though, as there is no street/lot/block number.

Have you tried searching for the person on Facebook?

Yeah, but the name seems pretty common...and I can't find any profiles that could be her.

I can't guarantee any info I got is real. We met online and never met in person yet.

We only used Snapchat to stay in contact. We update Facebook status to being in a relationship and we did give names and addresses...

I fear that it was all fake though...as now I can't find them on FB or Snapchat...and I just don't know what to do.

Maybe fake, or they could have blocked you from seeing their profile.  The mailing address is incomplete, at best, but likely fake as nothing comes up on Google for Sunil in Agoncillo.  Sorry this happened to you.

I'm sorry as well that this has happened to you, but if someone no longer communicates with you through your usual mode of communication (Snapchat), and has not given you an alternative means to contact them, except for a very vague address that can't really be verified through Google... have you considered that they no longer wish to be contacted?

Well, it's probably going to sound strange but we've only been chatting for 2 months. But we've been talking literally every day since we started. We've had text, voice, and some video chats...all through Snapchat.

But no, no gifts or anything yet. They strange part about it is that she mentioned a few times that she wanted to get me some things because my birthday was coming up...and my birthday is the 30th...so it's also weird that she'd suddenly leave if she was serious about it.

Did they ever ask for money?

I have, it just seems so sudden. There was no indication that they weren't interested anymore. I mean, we were literally talking yesterday...normal conversations...nothing seemed off.

Ah, it's only been a day.  Might be too soon to panic?

Yeah, I know. A day isn't really a long time. I know I shouldn't be panicing yet.

What makes it hard is that we have been talking every day and haven't gone not than maybe 6 hours without talking. And then there's just the feelings for them...that my feelings are real...so if it was all fake or if they just want to leave, it will hurt a lot

It won't help with the anxiety, but I hope you can take some comfort in the fact that many of us in this forum can relate to the ups and downs of online relationships.  Best wishes to you.
