Spousal Green Card | IR1/CR1 + Green card validity (2 years v/s 10 years)

Hi All,

My case just got transferred to the NVC, and, as my spouse and I await on the interview, I had a few questions -

(i) Is there a timeframe within which the IR1/CR 1 VISA needs to be activated (to avoid the medical tests being deemed inadmissible)?

(ii) Assuming that I 'activate' the VISA after over 2 years have passed since my marriage, would the green card be issued with a validity of 2 years / 10 years?

(iii) Per my understanding, the moment I activate the IR1/CR1 VISA, I'm considered a non-resident and do not qualify for provincial healthcare. Is this accurate?

(iv) Considering that I'd like to not have a gap in employment (employed by the Canadian entity of a US based employer), what would be the best approach without violating residency/domicile obligations, and, not being dual taxed (CRA & IRS)?

(v) Considering that I'll be eligible for Canadian citizenship in 2021, and, would like to apply before making the move to the States, will it have any bearing on the US green card process, and/or the residency/domicile obligations?

Many thanks!
