why do we need to repay the fees for I-130 all over again?

Our case I-130 was approved on May 3, 2005. But now our lawyer has told us that we need to repay the amount of $ 380 (per person) all over again, because (as we have been told) , we didn’t hand in some documents on time , however we send those documents as soon as our lawyer told us to do. So do you think we need to change our lawyer or this could happen some times? I’m worried that this is because of the lawyer’s mistake and irresponsibility and could cause the case to terminate. Does anybody know how long this process will take to receive the next notice?

If you have the petition numbers, why not call USCIS about it, or schedule an info pass appointment and ask in person about it?

Sounds like you may have an incompetent lawyer.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
