Hi everyone. I'm the petitioner for my husband and we became DQ a few months ago. I live abroad and was working locally, but since we became DQ I got a new job based in the states where I am working remotely.

I have a joint sponsor. I'm assuming I need to do a whole other I-864/pay stubs etc for my husband to take whenever they give us an interview date since it's a better job in terms of salary. Does anyone know if I'll need to do something else?

For the record I messed up my first I-864 (ugh) and uploaded a revised version, so if I send him with another version of my I-864 he will be going with 3 versions of my affidavit.

Yes,  a new affidavit of support is in order, but not because of the better salary.  It's because it's US based income.  You can also ask at interview to be qualified WITHOUT the joint sponsor, so the joint sponsor has no contingent obligation.

Hi. My husband is also taking on a new job stateside in January. We got DQd earlier this month. Did you upload the revised version as an additional document or as a replacement of the first one?

Are you able to replace it? I couldn't find the option to "replace" anywhere because technically the docs were accepted, so I just uploaded it as an additional document.

I haven’t yet because my husband hasn’t started with the new job. But you’re right, there’s no way to replace it. So I would just add it later on.
