I-129F Form Questions

Hello! I wanted to ask a few questions about filling out form I-129F for the K1 visa application because there are some portions where the form itself and the instruction document seem to have conflicting directions.

In the instructions it says every field left blank should be filled with "N/A" or zero/0 if a number. When I fill in the form digitally, many of these fields do not allow for letter input in the fields where I should put N/A. is it fine to just leave them blank?

Item Numbers 37. - 38.h. Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record This one on the instructions says to indicate if your beneficiary has ever been in the US, however on the form itself it says only to fill out if they are currently in the US. My fiance has visited the US once as a tourist and is not in the US now. Do I need to fill these questions out and provide the I94 information & documentation from that visit?

Thank you!

Those are separate items.  The questions and instructions for items 37 & 38 are clear --

  • #37 - Check "Yes" if the beneficiary has ever been to the US.
  • #38a to #38h - Leave blank or write "N/A" if the beneficiary is NOT currently in the US.

Thanks! Should I still attach the i94 entry/exit record documentation as a part of the overall application package?

Only if it is part of your evidence for in-person meeting within 2 years of filing.
