Good evening All,

Funny, this morning I E-Filed that I haven't received my ROE letter after deadline and what happens next in afternoon ROE is in the mailbox. Officer is asking for more supporting documents to proof Bona Fide Marriage.

I would appreciate advice on this below:

Few info about my marriage: we got married in august 2017. Due to millions of reason she filed for divorce in September 2019.

I was false informed that I don't need to send all the support documents I already provided when applying for my 2y GC. This is what was included in my I751 Waiver Divorce package:

  • My ID
  • Two Affidavits with Indetification Documents
  • My employment verification
  • My personal statement about my marriage and why we got divorced
  • Divorce decree
  • Joint health insurance
  • Joint Chase bank statements dated June 2019 to November 2019 - officer included a note here saying - These statements indicate usage, but do not identify who is making the transactions. Thus, these statements do not appear to demonstrate actual commingling and use of the account by both parties during your marriage
  • Joint Lease dated January 2019 to January 2020 - officer included a note here saying - This time frame does not cover a siginifact span of your marriage
  • Joint Spectrum bills dated June 2018 to July 2019
  • Marriage Certificate
  • My tax return filed single for 2019 - filed single because divorce
  • Joint tax transcripts for 2017 and 2018
  • photographs (about 10 of them )

What documents can I provide additionally:

  • More pictures
  • Lease from Jan 2018 to Dec 2019 ( Please note - first when we moved IN, we signed 2y lease and this lease was provided to officer when I was applying for my Temporary GC. After 1 year of that lease, due to our financial issues we negotiated with Landlord to lower our rent so we signed new lease on Jan 2019 until DEC 2019 - this lease was provided to officer when applying for I751 divorce waiver) - small problem with this lease - I lost last page where signatures are and knowing my landlord he probably don't have that copy. Should I ask my landlord to provide me new last page and have my ex and landlord to sign it again? Please note that USCIS already received that lease when applying for Temporary GC.
  • Chase Statements from Sep 2017 to June 2019 - please note due to her debt she had when we got married ( I have documents showing that), I didn't want to mix our finances and we opened that Joint Account so I can transfer her Money for our Living Cots - Groceries etc...
  • Spectrum bills from August 2017 until June 2018
  • Mail on her name from collectors and credit card companies
  • I also have her front picture of NYS Driver License with our address, but I don't have a last page. Since she moved to another state, I'm not sure if she have that ID any more. Should I provide just a front page?

Should I provide more affidavits from our mutual friends? Should I ask my ex to provide me a letter explaining our relationship?

Thank you for helping VisaJourney

Can someone please advise me should I sent first page of the lease without last page where signatures are? Please note that lease was provided in full to USCIS on my first interview. Somehow I lost that last page and my landlord don't have a copy since we renew lease with lower rent.

Thank you!

It will be safe to say that you should provide the last page  and include all the pages again. Ask your landlord and your ex to sign another page if she is willing to sign and your landlord agree to help you out.

Should I add a note and say that this was resigned in immigration purpose?

Should I include my ex wife affidavit about our marriage? Would that be considered as a proof of good faith?

It won't hurt anything to include any affidavit. I would suggest if possible you have the affidavit notarized. Only USCIS have the sole decision to determine what is considered a proof of good faith. Good luck
