Oh no!

I was just looking at the fiance visa applicaion that I sent for processing a few weeks ago and realized that

I FORGOT TO SIGN MY G-325A!

Impossible!

I read it a hundred times and double-checked everything (or so I thought!)

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to proceed?

We just got our NOA1 back last week. I'm thinking to send a new G-325A in (with signature) immediately, before they send a request for information to avoid further delays. Good idea? Any tips?

Thank you in advance.

P.S. This website forum is a God-send!

Don't panic! It's not too much of a big deal, I did something similar (forgot someone's SSN on a form).

They may or may not issue you an RFE , and you'd be best just waiting it out.

I have read from others that when sending stuff in extra it nearly never makes it to your file and is just a waste of time - wait for the RFE - if indeed you get one and mail it back it.

It will delay you a little yes, but if you have new froms ready to go and you mail them back ASAP, it won't be so bad.

Go ahead and make a fresh one, sign it, and have it ready. You can wait and see if you get an RFE for it, or you can go ahead and send it in once you know your case#. Dont fret too much, we've all done something silly at least once in the process. And lets be honest, USCIS does all kinds of silly thing that make the rest of us look pretty darn good compared to them :)

The best thing is to wait. I've had two instances regarding writing after sending applications to USCIS. The first time was for a K-1 when I wrote a letter about the case. They finally got the letter, put it in the file then, placed the file in the wrong place.

The other situation involved trying to correct a spelling error for my stepson's last name. I sent a letter to MSC requesting they correct the spelling. Nothing was accomplished until we went to the green card interview. That officer did correct the spelling and my stepson has a correctly spelled green card. By the way, the USCIS misspelled his name.

So wait!
