Guys,

Just fixed formatting on the spreadsheet. Can't wait for 'NVC status to change to The Embassy' for rest of the CR1/IR1s.

Thank youuuu ❤️ Also been trying to clean it up a lil and made two additional sheets, one for CR1 and another with K1s...

+1 Cannot wait to hear of some more scheduled interviews...hopefully soon. Also interested to see what easing of restrictions(if any) the government will announce this week..am I being too optimistic in thinking we could go to a tweaked level 4?? 🤪

I'm hoping for the same, but my spouse and sister in law have both brought up something about them offering free clinics for people to come in for testing; they seem to think that they'll get more numbers from more people getting tested that they'll use to extend the lockdowns further. Anecdote, but we will see! I'd love to be able to leave the house again.

👐

Patience......patience.

Thanks @Thewander

So we are essentially one month behind, it seems like they are conducting one interview per day, I'm just guesstimating, so late May is a good expectation for us

Also it looks like no interviews (that we know of) have been scheduled past the 20th of April...

One interview per day? Where did you see that? I only know of a few interviews a month.

And those were k1s. Still no spousal visas pulled from Nvc since September.

yes :( I got really excited when they resumed interviews early last March thinking we'd see some fresh cases pulled in from the NVC...although maybe there is some delay with the NVC and we could still hear of new CR1/IR1s being scheduled for late April...it seems like K1 needs to directly submit a notice of readiness to the embassy which might be easier for them to schedule them in? 🤷‍♀️

From an email the embassy sent, they’re currently working on cases they have at the embassy, which seem to be k1s since they can submit their letter of readiness but spousal can’t. Nvc is just waiting for the embassy to request cases, so no delay with them. Our cases are literally sitting at the Nvc collecting dust.

It's so annoying 😪 It seems like all CR1s at the embassy have already had interviews scheduled...wondering what the holdup is? Unless they won't pull in more during level 5?

@Thewander I have a few colleagues at workplace that have been waiting for L visa (work related) since forever, they are now being lined up. So I assume there's a whole lot of traffic that we are unaware of which are being dealt with currently.

All guesstimate anyways since nobody has an accurate number.

I am hoping ours would start soon, NVC is probably waiting on embassy to request cases.

Happy for them, nobody should be left hanging, but sort of shocked immediate family members(all of us) aren't thrown into the schedule mix :(

Lined up for interviews? So I’m guessing the ones who’s cases are already at the embassy get priority over cases like ours waiting at the Nvc???

Yes that's my understanding. They have been waiting for far longer than us from my conversation with atleast two colleagues. I think there's a whole lot out there who aren't active on forums
