Thanks both, that seems to be the exact case.

If you see the contact page on NVC, it says "NVC cannot predict when Consular Sections will resume routine services, or when your case will be scheduled for an interview." , when you contact the embassy in Dublin, they say, they can't help until NVC forwards them the case.

So I suppose there's just no help altogether. Wait and watch situation.

Exactly. They just send you in circles. Whenever I call them on it they just repeat themselves and say it’s up to the other one. It’s a huge mess and I’m completely sick of it. I just saw another k1 got an interview yesterday.

K1 visas are being issued to plaintiffs in the Milligan v Pompeo case, or have NIE.

Explains at least some of the interviews you’re seeing scheduled.

Hey everyone! Have any IR1s heard from the embassy? Please remember to keep this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-E3f7cpyBqmL4uwxUG2BqZAEgKdurwrvGULWUltdZvQ/edit?pli=1#gid=0&fvid=1811077864 updated.

Still waiting at the NVC here, I assure you that I will update everything as soon as I have word to. I'm really hoping that we are near the top of the queue so it won't be long now..............maybeeeee........................................

In addition to the spreadsheet, I hope that everyone is keeping their timeline updated, so we can help other VJ members relive the covid times long after this isn't relevant. 😄

👐

Patience......patience.

Same, still waiting. Hoping they’ll start scheduling more interviews for may at the end of this month. This waiting game is torture and they give no sympathy or answers

I really hope interviews start flowing. They have a huge backlog and I know the US officials are looking into each embassy’s numbers. Hopefully that’ll give them the push to do more interviews per month. It’s placing so much stress on us I’m now getting migraines.

Good to know things are being looked into ❤️ Hopefully that does mean we will start to hear of more interviews being scheduled soon. Looking at the spreadsheet it seems like there is a ton of people to get through but it also feels like they could get through that pretty quickly if they worked the same pace as last winter where it seems like they got through the spring/summer 2020 backlog fairly quickly :(

Feeling your pain, my husband just flew back home and for some reason saying goodbye this time it was the hardest. I know we are at the last stretch (hopefully) It's just a horrible feeling to have your future up in the air for so long :(

Happy Friday!!

My concern is, all the cases which were at NVC are still sitting at NVC since 24th Feb, and its more than a month now the file hasn't moved an inch. Still hoping for the best and glad the interviews are at least being conducted :D

Same here!! Anxiously waiting for fresh cases to be pulled in from the NVC :( Also glad they have resumed and are moving through the backlog...
