That's great! Congratulations. Ours still says Ready. It's very disheartening. We've emailed, but the auto-reply says they won't reply until it's been 15 working days. Luckily our move date isn't until March, but it's stressful wondering what the hold-up is.

That's very strange, I'm sure you'll have it long before March. I emailed them, and they responded after a few days (although it wasn't helpful at all), so I wouldn't be shy about following up regardless of the 15 day thing.

Good call! We'd emailed last week and heard nothing. Emailed again yesterday and they didn't reply, but it did finally move into Administrative Processing right before end of day today! Maybe we got lost in the shuffle and the nudge did it, or just coincidence ... but I'm very relieved that there's movement!

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll be "Issued" today, and get your tracking number tomorrow (although with Christmas who knows, but I guess it doesn't matter to you if it comes before or after Christmas).

Ok so I think we’re at the end of our many unfortunate delays. The embassy has my husbands new passport and we got notified they received it yesterday. It switched to administrative processing yesterday, then today it switched to ready. Based off this thread it looks like it usually happens the other way around? Has this happened to anyone else? Just curious if we’re moving forward or backwards

Ours stayed on Ready, but the date updated changed a couple times, so it could have changed and then gone back to Ready without me catching it. I imagine they needed to ensure they had everything together.

there was no envelope with it to bring to the Border Patrol, just passport and a paper asking us to pay the Immigration Fee.

Does the visa have the annotation "IV DOCS IN CCD"?  If so, that means the visa case files have been sent to DHS electronically and CBP would not expect a physical packet from you at POE.  All you need to present at POE would be your passport with visa.

Our visa arrived!! The only thing is ... there was no envelope with it to bring to the Border Patrol, just passport and a paper asking us to pay the Immigration Fee.

Did anyone else not have an envelope? Thanks!

I did not get any envelope, just what you did. I entered the US on Christmas Eve. All I needed was my passport, the officer brought me back into secondary screening where they confirmed contact details and sent me on my way. It was all very easy.

So I left Dublin in October thinking my husband would be two weeks behind me. We didn’t expect over a 2 month delay getting his new passport.

finally his status switched to ISSUED this morning!!! 😁 how long does it take to receive tracking info after switching to issued?

Hi,

I am waiting for an interview in Dublin embassy for an immigrant visa. Do you know how long will wait for an interview letter after documentarily qualified?

Thank you so much. I am upset after waiting for long time.

Generally a month from what I have read. Some have been a lot quicker though.
