Finally got through the appointment registration, they didn't have our case in the system. After a few days of trying we were able to set up a medical exam too, it's about a week after our interview date. They'll let us know if there are any cancellations, or at least they say they will.

Grateful to have everything sorted, and hope that everyone else is having a smooth time with things!

👐

Patience......patience.

FWIW They did let me know of a cancellation so they should do the same for you. I was informed a day before the available slot so it might be short notice.

It's a straightforward process and nothing to worry about.

All the best!

Hello Everyone,

Just found this place, I was DQ'd in October and got my Interview for May 5th.  Also had my medical last Friday and have to get a teknis shot and email that to the Mater.  Also got a email yesterday that they need a new police report because my original didn't have my maiden name on it only my married name, so when I get that back will have to rescan and upload to the CEAC what a pain this has all been.

Oh does anyone know when you get your medical results do they send them to the Embassy or do we have to collect them ourselves?

Pretty sure I remember reading that they send it on themselves. Welcome, fellow Marylander! Not long to go now 😄

I also heard from the Mater that they will send the results electronically to the embassy. I have heard from some K1s that they had to collect them but not sure why there would be two different steps for CR1/K1s 🤷‍♀️

ahh that's good to hear.  I don't know either but then again this entire journey has been trial and error and finding out stuff last minute or after the fact.  But hey we soldier on right!

The email I received from Mater says When your results are completed we forward them electronically to the Department of Immigration.
