Hey all,

just wondering if  interview is not going too well and they do not give you the approval right away , is that an automatic denial?

What are the steps afterwards if they are possibly intending to deny? Do they send you a request for evidence  to give you a chance to clarify ? If they send you a notice of intent to deny do you still have a chance to appeal or give additional documents to plead your case?

thank you and happy holidays

No straight denial, you are told to wait for decision in the mail, then either approval or RFE, home visits, another interview...

In another, very recent, thread you asked about the length of time you can expect between the notice that an interview has been scheduled and the date of the interview. This leads me to believe you haven't had your interview yet. Why, then, are you worried about the denial process? I realize that anxiety is normal, and all kinds of scenarios come to mine, and torment you, until you have the Green Card in your hand. I've been there, and my imagination is active! Relax, gather whatever evidence you have, make sure you have whatever they require, and go to your interview with confidence.

Also note that many posters here who felt their AOS from K-1 interview didn't go well were, in fact, approved with no RFE or any other additional information required.
