K1 AOS working on case since July 2020 no NOA

OK here’s our situation, my husband came here on the K-1 visa in March 2020 we got married in April and then we filed for adjustment of status at the end of April and they had a request for more evidence and then they accepted our application July 9, 2020 via SMS text. Online it says that they had started working on our case again but we have not received our NOA for any of our applications, (work permit, travel permit in the main Adjustment of status). We have made multiple service requests online and through the phone (T1) and nothing has happened. We have talked to a TIER 2 Agent and they put in another request for us about 2 1/2 weeks ago..I got an email saying The national benefit center location is working on our case.

We know we have to wait 30 days but seriously we have no idea what to do if they just continue to not do anything. Is there anything we can do? We found out that the service requests we put in before everyone just kept looking at it and thinking it’s being taken care of by someone else. Advice? 

My husband is losing his mind here because he can’t work or do anything and he’s convinced that the government will just continue to not do their job.  We know everyone is waiting on biometrics but seriously we dont even have our NOA forms. We’re calling every week to check if someone has been assigned to our case or not, so far not. They cashed our check as well.
