Hi. We submitted our file last April and just got an RFE for 2 year meeting. My fiancé is in India and I met her total of 2 times with our family. This is an arranged marriage scenario. Each meeting was about 1 hour long and then families decided to fix our engagement. Then I came back to US. Now the thing Is that we don’t have any photos together. When we filled, we submitted tickets, passport stamps and letter. But no photos of us together. Now they sent us an rfe for photos. What to do? Should I go back to India and take photos of us together? Thanks

You need to reply to the RFE and say that you don't have any photos together before the I-129f was filed.

Any photos you take after filing the I-129f does not matter.  It doesn't fulfill the requirement that you met before filing the I-129f or that you had a bona fide relationship before filing the I-129f.

Can we get witness statements and affidavit? Will that be enough? Ty

Rfe states that evidence includes but not limited to photos.

Then provide them with what you can.  That's all you can do.

Witness statements and affidavits have very little weight.  Anyone can write anything and sign it.  If that's all you got, then that's your only option.

Do you have any other evidence you could submit in response to the RFE that would show you were in India for the two visits you mentioned, such as hotel receipts, credit card statement showing transactions on the dates in the city in India where you claim to have met twice, evidence of purchases made during the visits, restaurant receipts, gifts, car rental, taxis, Uber receipts, ATM withdrawals, original boarding passes from your two trips, work records showing that you took time off on those days?  To overcome the problem of no photos together, you will need more evidence so dig a little deeper in your records and online accounts and print it out and send all of that in response to the RFE, accompanied with a clear explanation of why you did not take any photos (only met for an hour, maybe for cultural/religious reasons?).  Affidavits may help a little, if you send lots of other documents.  If that doesn't work, you'll have to make another trip to see her, and be sure to take photos this time.  Look at it as another chance to meet your future wife and true love.  Good luck!

Many thanks for your detailed response. Actually we have all the proof that shows that I was in India. The rfe mentions “the evidence you provided shows that you were in India but doesnt prove that you and the beneficiary met in person. Please provide evidence that shows that you and beneficiary met in person at least once. The evidence includes but not limited to photos with date and place “  what to do? Thanks again

When we were doing AOS for from K1 we got a RFE asking for affidavits and witness statements, it seems to take care of what USCIS wanted. I had very little proof to send in due to keeping my fiance seperate from my wife
