My WAC case filed 12/2019 has not been transferred but i want to follow this thread for news.

Do all the cases that have been transferred hav had N-400 filed? or mostly not?

It sucks to have been waiting since end of 2019 with no news at all :(

I got transferred but have not filed for N400. My window opens in early Feb but will wait till ROC goes through.

It seems like that the hesitation in filing for 400 means that conclusion here is that 400 filing delays 751. Is that correct?

Correct. I think the HOPE is that people who had the case transferred to NBC will hear back from them soon (in special the December-19 to April-20 fillers), so applying to N-400 would delay the whole thing -- it would trigger another ROC case transfer + the ~1 year timeline for the N-400 approval.

Also some countries do not recognize dual citizenship. Just taking some time to think about the big decision.

Checked my status randomly yesterday (1/14) and found that my case was transferred on 1/13. No notification or anything. Not sure about fingerprints about being applied. Filed August 2020 so when I posted in the Aug '20 thread, someone linked this thread.

I received my letter today! I guess it was faster for me because I live in Orange County and the California service center is in Laguna Niguel.

Notice date: 12/23/2020

We have completed a preliminary review of the application or petition listed above. As part of standard processing we transferred your case to the USCIS office listed below that has jurisdiction over your case. That office will notify you in writing when they make a decision on your case or if they need additional information.

National Benefits Center, Lee's Summit, MO

From what I've seen from Texas service center cases being transferred there, there's usually an approval in two months, I hope this is the case for us, too.

hello im in the same boat i filed ROC sept 2020 and just received an update that it was transfered to NBC from WAC is that a good sign?

I'd imagine so. I see people who were transfered a few weeks before me have been approved. I hope this will be the case for us, too.

Hopefully the last two weeks of January will be full of good news for us! :)

I'd expect some delays, today is a holiday and tomorrow and on the Wednesday all federal buildings will be closed because of terrorism threat. I don't know if regular employees not conducting interviews will be working.

Hi everyone! I’m also a WAC case. I filed on Oct 28th, haven’t gotten biometrics letter at all yet. BUT today I just got an email notification about my case being transferred to another office. I will get letter in the mail soon so I hope everything’s ok. It’s just weird to me that my Biometrics haven’t been processed and my case was still transferred.

Nothing to worry about. If anything, you should be happy that it was transferred sooner rather than later.

My case was also transferred before getting a biometrics appointment/waiver; it seems that it happened to most filler from May/June/July +
