For the people who are data nerds (like me): I saw on reedit this tool https://gctracker.github.io/ which is much better than the USCIS processing time estimation. It clear shows that WAC has a create backlog, and getting our case to NBC should really speed it up -- one of the smallest backlogs among all the processing centers.

I was just looking at that data. I love Reddit. Lol.

Did the approval letter just show up without warning as I just got notified of a letter arriving today but no onsite approval and I already have a letter telling about the transfer to NBC that was sent over a week ago?

We got two copies of the letter. We did not get any other notifications, no emails, other letters other than the transfer.

Sorry two copies of what letter?

Two envelopes with the same i-751 approval letter. Not sure why it was duplicated. Also I just checked the website and it shows the card was mailed on Friday the 29th.

As of Wednesday the 27th, the website still showed only that the case had been transferred, even though it had been approved the day before (per the letter).

The letter I just got today just says that they will reuse by biometrics and there is no need to visit a ASC center. The first letter I got a week ago was just notifying me of the transfer to NBC.

Got an update on case - January 23, 2021 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken. Looks like NBC is using Biometric information from I-485

Got the same thing on January 22nd. When I got the email I thought I'd have to go to a fingerprint appointment, but then I saw this update when I looked at the status of my case directly on their website.

Did any of you get the letter for the biometrics re-use but no update online?

got a letter on friday from CSC, letter states biometrics will be used and there will be no need for me to go in, I had already received this letter back in september and already got a letter notifying transfer of my case to NBC, maybe a glitch since I can see other people got the same?

Same here. I received a letter in October saying fingerprints were being used from previous case. Then I received the same letter again on Friday.

When I received the letter in October, my case status updated to say fingerprints were being applied. This time round there was no update to my case status.

Hey everyone. I wanted to ask if anyone had an issue getting a driver's license with the extension letter. The CA DMV told me I only get a temp license until I have my new gc. Which we all know will take ridiculously long. They told me I have to go back every 2 months to get a new temp. Anyone else in the same boat? That can't be right. 😔
