K-1, U.S. Embassy of Colombia

Interviewed January 2020 missing i-864,  221g was given and asked to send i864 and passport. We sent an i864 and passport to the Embassy the same week. 10-11 months passed, Got an email from the Embassy this week 12/21/2020 asked to redo the medical exam because it's expired and police certificate by January 15, 2021 but the problem is the U.S Embassy still has my passport and I live in Venezuela. The land border is currently closed between Colombia and Venezuela and I have to have a passport to get a medical exam.  Can anyone relate and help? Thank you.

Reply to email from the embassy and explain that their designated medical provider is in a different country so you need you borrow your passport to travel.
