Why does it include 100s of millions of dollars in foreign aid and 100s of millions in non covid related pork. The swamp if full again

Not hundreds of millions but billions for foreign aid. There was 700 million for Sudan and 1.3 billion for Egypt alone

166 billion out of 1 trillion for aid, 1-2 billion for the joke stimulus, the overwhelming majority for god knows who. The government was who shut things down in the first place causing people to need this. This is the kind of legislation you write if you hate your country. One giant middle finger to Americans. Screw these people.

Sean Parnell had a good point right now on the Tim cast irl podcast. "You could have given everybody a $2700 paycheck with this bill, but Congress took $2700 instead and gave you $600 back"

Don't forget $450 million for Ukraine, $653 million to Israel, $33 million to people in Venezuela, an additional $5 million for Congressional healthcare.

 

Also there is an amendment in there saying you will get 10 years in prison for illegal streaming, and the Smokey Bear symbol is now trademarked.

this "relief" bill is absolute garbage.

the really funny thing is that the democrats wanted a higher amount for people too and would happily agree to the higher amount he floated

 

i really dont understand what all of this miscellaneous junk is that the swamp threw into this pile of poo bill

   Hasn't been many times when I have said I agree 100% with the president, and this might be the last time, but he is completely right.  Congress spent literally months on this thing just to end up with an ugly swing and miss. Then they tried to pass it off as something great. They should be embarrassed about coming up with this garbage.

  Really though, even fiscal conservatives should want more money going out to American people and businesses. We are going to come out of this with massive debt at almost all levels of society. In this type of situation, given the options, it's actually a better thing for the federal government to assume more of that debt over individuals. It's the only chance we have for the economy to actually recover (without taking forever). The economy as a whole can't recover if every part of it is left to oblivion. Hard to even come up with what some of these people in congress are thinking.

   They shut everything down, ask people to stay home, sacrifice, watch people die, and then support people through all that with enough money to buy a 3 month supply of noodles. Jesus, it's almost Christmas and now I feel like smacking someone.  Damn it!

That's the thing I am seeing is that both sides are disgusted by this entire bill. Jimmy Dore has flat out said that "this bill is worse than nothing and a big F U to the American people".
