Consulate Lagos - Nigeria

Good morning.

My spouse had the visa interview today December 22 and all went very successful. The CO, indicated everything was good, and visa is approved pending Medical. They kept the passport and said that an email will be sent when the visa is ready to be picked up.

We are wondering why they don’t have medical yet. The exam was completed on December 2nd. The results/vaccinations confirmation was picked up on December 11. At that time, it was indicated by the facility that the actual exam results were sent to the consulate electronically and the consulate should have them by time of interview on December 22.

After the interview, we immediately contacted the medical facility and explained that the consulate stated that they have not received the exam result. The medical facility confirmed over the phone that they did in fact send the results on December 4th.

Should we just wait, or should we contact the consulate?

Thanks
