I assume he entered the US around 2006 since you said the crime was committed 2 years after he entered. The Green Card has listed expiration date and Form I-90 is used to renew the card.

You're absolutely right. It didn't hit my mind that to replace a 10 year GC, you need the I-90. This was new information to me. I have never replaced a 10 year GC, so I never knew.

Personally and a sidenote, I got my 10 year GC from ROC....so I never knew. I've never dealt with I-90 during my own immigration journey. Thought I-90 was for replacement of GC and other things BUT not renewal of the 10 year GC. Just quickly Googled and even name of the form at the very top says so. I have not been paying attention all this while🤦🏽. Thanks

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Yup. If you open the Form you'll also see that it doesn't ask for much when compared to other USCIS forms. USCIS may or may not know about the arrest. But on Form N-400 it does ask about arrests.

Yap. And that's why I told them to get the official court records and disclose it when they file N400.

Thanks for your help.
